Duration recording is used to document how long a behavior lasts.   It is often used for behaviors that occur at a high rate.  

Daily Progress reports are used as a Tier 2 intervention. It can be used as a part of Check in-Check out to help students focus on positive behaviors and track what is happening throughout the day. 

Frequency data collection is used to document how many times a behavior occurs during a time frame. It is typically used for behaviors that have a clear beginning and end.  

ABC data sheets are used to specially see what is happening right before and after a behavior.  It also can help determine the function of a behavior.
